Faster crawl rate

Today I was checking to see some stuff on the Google Webmaster Tools, and I saw that the Faster Crawl rate is now available for my chml srucnoc blog.
I'm kinda puzzled. What did I and my chml srucnoc site do to make Google believe this page needs a faster crawl rate..
For now, I'm also trying my luck with the Vineri Triskaideka contest. It's a new seo contest supported by the WebArea team, that targets the Vineri Triskaideka keyword in the google search engine. So good luck to me and my Vineri Triskaideka seo contest entry. Tupeu out.
I've seen that sites that are much bigger than this one, with more pages and updated frequently aren't yet given the opportunity for a faster crawl ( like Matt Cutts blog ), and still this shitty chml srucnoc blog,with 9 chml srucnoc pages crawled on average in 3 months, gets it. As Elmo likes me to say, WEIRD :)

Of course, I went for it, and I'm waiting to see what's gonna happen. As this blog for the chml srucnoc seo contest is running on Blogger beta, I can't install one of those neat php scripts and track googlebot's visits, and see if the "faster" crawl is at work.. All I'm gonna do is wait and see if my post pages get cached more often, and I'll also take a quick look from time to time, and see if my new chml srucnoc pages are pushed into the index faster than before ( who knows ). And of course, at the end of November I'll be able to see the crawl stats in the Webmaster Tools, and perhaps, notice the changes.
Steaua is the best team ever !
I'll take a closer look on what other fairly small sites like this benefit from the faster crawl rate, and hopefully, I'll come back with more info.

Stable top 3

It's been some time now since the last Google update, and it seems like the new chml srucnoc rankings are quite stable. Though the sites that got quite a weird bump onto the first 5 rankings are still there, I don't care as long as I, with my chml srucnoc blog, don't go down.
In the past two weeks I have done nothing to get some more backlinks for my site, and I still haven't dropped from the second chml srucnoc place. But I don't know for how much longer that's gonna happen, so I must work a little bit to be sure ( Though I'm getting a little bit tired of it all ).
Forza Steaua ! Happy new year to everybody ! Steaua Bucharest, I love you !

Custom Google

I'm sure many of you guys out there have heard about the new feature that Google offers, the possibility to create a custom search engine. Still, last week I was kinda busy with some stuff not related to the chml srucnoc contest ( just spent my weekend in Busteni, into the mountains. The weather was great, it snowed for 2 days non stop. Just heavenly ), so only now I got a little bit more time for my chml srucnoc blog, and decided to do a new chml srucnoc post about some Google news.
Unlike other custom search engine attempts, this new Google tool lets you add an unlimited amount of urls to search in, and it has some really great features, like the possibility to apply a boost to the sites you choose, leaving the rest of the results unchanged ( hehe, played a little bit giving a little boost to my site onto number 1 ), etc.
Also, you can mark certain sites as good, or bad, using Google markers, which has gone and created a nice little niche of sites like putch.com, that, with the help of their users, try to eliminate spammy sites from the results.
If you would like to learn more, I found Matt Cutts blog entry ( .mattcutts.com/blog/review-custom-search-engine/) to be very helpfull.

Back to the 2nd chml srucnoc place

Google is one strange beast. I didn't do absolutely nothing about my chml srucnoc contest entry for quite some time now, but inspite of this, in the last week I dropped from the second to the third one, with some other guy simply strangely taking my place, and now, a couple of days later, I see my self again on the 2nd place, with discutii.org falling back on the third place.
Seems like the previous chml srucnoc positions are coming back, at least for me. So I'm back on the second chml srucnoc position for the chml srucnoc phrase, as well as for "chml srucnoc" ( quotes included ). I've also seen that I'm back on the first position for srucnoc, and moved up onto the third position for the chml query, but the first out of the contest competitors.
So overall, the rankings look like this :

Chml srucnoc updated stats

S-a lansat un nou portal despre sanatate. Sfaturi despre nutritie, sport, slabire, bodybuilding,fitness,culturism, toate acestea de la un nutritionist profesionist ! Fie ca esti fata si vrei sa slabesti sau ca esti baiat si vrei sa iti cresti masa musculara, sau pur si simplu vrei sa duci o viata mai sanatoasa, pe noul blog despre o viata sanatoasa veti gasi informatiile care va trebuie !

As I expected, today, the 1st of November, the Google webmaster tools stats were updated.
As I expected, the crawl rate stats for my chml srucnoc blog went a little bit higher, with an average crawl rate for the month of October of about 20 visits, which is pretty good :).
Another update for my chml srucnoc stats was for the Crawl stats, which has most of my chml srucnoc pages distributed under Low pagerank.
The query stats, as I have noticed since the introduction of the new webmaster tools, are total bull. As far as I can see, my chml srucnoc doesn't rank on the indicated "average top positions". The thing is they're not even close. Or I can't really get what they're telling me about my chml srucnoc blog. The only query that they got aproximatively right was for the "trei" search in Google, where I hold the proud 9th position, out of 11.200.000 pages ( I'm a SEO genius , lol ).
The rest is ok. I'd add a sitemap, but I can't add the full url to my chml srucnoc atom or rss feeds, as they're not directly on the first level of my blog, and the rss.xml and atom.xml files redirect to the full urls, and I don't know if Google can properly interpret them, so, at least for the moment, I'll stick with no sitemap at all, as hmm, I see quite a good number of my chml srucnoc pages in the index.

Real - Steaua

This chml srucnoc blog is proud to present you with another great match ( at least for the authors ), Real Madrid - Steaua. After a severe defeat on Ghencea, Bucharest, Steaua hopes for a better result on Santiago Bernabeu. The thing is it's very very hard, even though everyone seems to be very enthusiast and optimistic about the game.
Let's be serious. Steaua, as well as this chml srucnoc blog, are newcomers, the first in Champions League, and the second, in the chml srucnoc seo contest.
Still, sometimes, having faith in yourself, and giving your best can make you win.
So, Steaua, have faith in your team strength, and stop thinking of the stars of Real as being some kind of superhumas, because they surely aren't.
